Our Boiler Installations (a step by step to our process)

1) Before work begins

First, our Gas Safe engineers will want to double-check a few things with you. Such as how many radiators you have, your water pressure, the number of bathrooms in your home and the positioning of the current boiler and flue.

2) On the day

If it’s a straightforward swap — e.g. combi for combi — you should expect our engineers to be done and dusted within the day but we'll keep you updated on time frames throughout. It’s worth bearing in mind though, that if it’s a much older boiler system or you’re changing boiler type, there may be complications that prolong the installation. At the end of the installation, our gas engineers will run through any new boiler controls so we'll need you to be around for this bit. 

3) Getting you the right documentation

To comply with Building Regulations and Gas Safe rules, and as a Gas Safe business, we'll need to notify the local authorities whenever we install a new gas appliance. We'll then provide you with a Building Regulations Certificate, as well as a completed Benchmark Certificate, to prove compliance.

4) What happens when the installation is complete? 

As Baxi & Ideal accredited installers we can offer extended warranties on selected product lines. We can also offer to book you in for your next boiler service or you can sign up for one of our Fixplans to keep your boiler in top shape & spread the cost of annual servicing.
